The conference starts with an opening keynote by educational handheld expert, Tony Vincent, followed by 30 different breakout sessions. The November 3rd Preconference Workshops will provide time for in-depth work on specific handheld topics. Elliot Soloway will be the preconference luncheon keynote. If you are interested in using handheld computers in education, you simply must attend the Ottawa Area ISD's conference on Nov 19. Ottawa Area ISD hosts their 3rd annual handheld conference in Holland, Michigan. Expect about 300 educators and about 5 handheld-specific sessions per hour!

The Southeast Michigan Handheld Computer Conference took place in Farmington on October 24.
