GoObserve Version 2.0 Documentation
To fully appreciate the many new features incorporated in Version 2, it is important to thoroughly review the documentation. Click on "GoObserve Version 2.0 User Guide" to download a PDF file. You will need "Acrobat Reader" to open and print the documentation brochure.

Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1
For many excellent reasons, GoObserve Version 2.0 was developed so that it requires the installation of Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 software with your Windows operating system. The majority of GoObserve users will already have this software installed.

The computer you are currently using does not appear to have the Microsoft .NET Framework version 1.1 installed. Please follow the instructions below to verify and then download the .NET installer.

Checking for the .NET Framework
To manually check if the .NET Framework is installed on your computer, go to "Start" then "Control Panel," then "Add or Remove Programs." The applications are listed alphabetically. Go down the list to see if Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 is installed. If it is, no other steps are necessary. If you do not find the .NET Framework 1.1 on your program list, or if you have an earlier version (1.0), then you will need to download the .NET software from the GoObserve web site.

.NET Framework Installer
If needed, click here to download the .NET Framework version 1.1 installer. You should not need to restart after running the installer, so if you are given the option of saving or opening the file and choose open it should install the .NET Framework and after closing the installer leave you back at this web page. This is a large (23 MB) download, and may take several minutes depending on your connection speed.

Download GoObserve Version 2.0
Connect your Pocket PC handheld to your desktop/laptop computer with the cradle or cable. Click on the "Download Demo Now" button below to download the installer. fter you fill in some basic information about yourself and click "Start Download" you should be presented with a File Download box. Click Save. At the Save As box, click Save. After the application has downloaded to your computer, you will see a Download Complete box. Click Open or Run. The installer will first install the .NET Compact Framework to your handheld. Click Install and follow the on screen prompts. After the .NET Compact Framework has been installed to your handheld, you will get a second installer screen. Click Next, accept the license agreement, and click Finish. This will install GoObserve to your handheld. Follow the on screen prompts, clicking Yes to install the file to your handheld.
